65-year-old woman injured after leopard attack

DEHRADUN: A 65-year-old woman was seriously injured when a leopard attacked her in Augustmuni area of Rudraprayag district here, forest officials said on Sunday. The incident occurred when Kalpeshwari Devi (65) was sitting in her veranda on Saturday when the leopard attacked her in Singhata village. As she shouted for help, family members rushed to rescue her, but she was badly injured. She was admitted to hospital.
