Bangladesh can beat any team, feels Tamim Iqbal
CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal has said beating the mighty South African cricket team to a series-win was a massive achievement for his team. The aggressive opener believes they are capable of beating any major team in international cricket. Chasing 170, Bangladesh created history with a resounding nine-wicket win here on Wednesday to clinch their first-ever One-Day International (ODI) series against the game’s big boys 2-1. Earlier, after easily losing the first ODI by eight wickets, the hosts fought back convincingly in the second ODI to level the series. “Beating South Africa ... this is a huge moment for Bangladesh cricket. This Bangladesh team has the ability to beat any team of the world,” said Tamim.
