Maneka pushes to promote women sports

NEW DELHI: Women and child development ministry has taken up the agenda of promoting women sports in the country with the help of sports ministry, Union minister Maneka Gandhi said Monday. “I held talks with the sports minister a few days ago and we discussed on how we can promote women sports in the country,” Gandhi said while speaking at a workshop on the recommendation of a high-level committee on ‘status of women in India’.
