Crackdown on radicals

Though the Punjab government justifies its step of preventing the hardliners from taking out protest marches, it has been giving enough room to the radicals, including Surat Singh Khalsa, to continue protesting for the release of prisoners who have completed their sentences. It is wrong to detain convicts who have completed their terms. All parties should resolve the matter amicably.
