Vinesh in team for Kazakh wrestling meet

NEW DELHI: An eight-member Indian wrestling team, including Commonweal­th Games goldmedall­ist Vinesh, will compete in the President’s Cup to be held at Astana, Kazakhstan from July 23.

“This event will be an opportunit­y for our team to get exposure before the Worlds. We will not leave any stone unturned, as we want more and more female wrestlers to qualify for Rio Games from the first qualificat­ion event (World Championsh­ips),” said WFI boss.
