Second white tigress dies in Indore zoo

INDORE: A 16-year-old white tigress at the Kamala Nehru Zoo here died on Tuesday due to multiple-organ failure, officials said. Another 5-yearold white tigress had died of intestinal cancer in the zoo on July 11. The white tigress — Sita, died of multiple-organ failure. Her condition deteriorated and she had stopped taking food for the past couple of days, they said. She was the first white tiger in the zoo.
