No hardliners

Apropos the HT report ‘Cops crack down on Sikh hardliners across Punjab’ (July 20), how can someone sitting on fast in a peaceful manner for six months be called a hardliner? Supporters of Surat Singh Khalsa are common people. Khalsa observed the fast and his supporters organised the march to get the Sikh prisoners who have completed their sentences released. They are not asking for their premature release.
