School bus drivers demand hike in salary

JALANDHAR: Drivers and conductors of the Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, held a protest opposite the school premises on Wednesday demanding a salary hike. Due to the strike, buses remained off roads for the second day running. They have also submitted a memorandum to the labour department.

Labour inspector Kunwar Dabar said, “I have called a meeting between the representatives of the school and protesting drivers and also direct the DTO to clear the confusion on the utility vehicles.” HTC
