State admn tribunal gets Centre’s nod

CHANDIGARH: Haryana will soon have its state administrative tribunal (SAT) as the state’s proposal in this regard has been given nod by the Union ministry of personnel, public grievances and pensions.

An official spokesman said t the decision to set up SAT had been taken to provide quicker redressal of employees’ g rievances re g arding service matters. The setting up of SAT would also reduce the number of court cases, particularly service matters of employees.
