Two-day workshop on ophthalmology

JALANDHAR: The Thind Eye Hospital and Jalandhar Cataract and Refractive Club (JCRC) organised a continues medical education (CME) on recent advances in ophthalmology. In the workshop, Dr Sameera Irfan from Lahore, Pakistan, shared the modalities of the treatment for oculoplasty. She explained how one can provide relief to patients suffering from trichaisis, ectropion and entropion, whose eyelids are bending inwards and touching the cornea causing irritation and decreased vision. Dr Sameera also explained that squint should be treated at the earliest.
