Haryana to observe ‘cashless week’ from today
CHANDIGARH: With a view to promote digital payments in the state, Haryana government has decided to observe “cashless week” from January 20 to 27.
A spokesman of higher education department, Haryana, said that vice-chancellors of all the universities and principals of all government colleges and government-aided private colleges in the state have been instructed to arrange special training sessions for students, and teaching and non-teaching staff.
The spokesperson said that the necessary instructions may be issued to the students and members of the staff to register and upload the details of achievements regarding cashless transactions on the web portal of Vittiya Saksharta Abhiyan (VISAKA) on a day-to-day basis.
AUTHORITIES OF ALL UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO ARRANGE SPECIAL TRAINING SESSIONS
