CHANDIGARH: The role of haryana government-constituted special investigation team (sit) into alleged murthal gang rapes during the february 2016 jat quota violence, came under severe criticism of punjab and haryana high court on thursday. the bench for the first time since petition started a year ago, put it on record that rape has been committed, which was evident from the two different statements of witnesses and scattered clothes found with semen, at the alleged scene of crime.
