Four rape Muktsar woman, make video and upload on WhatsApp

MUKTSAR: Police have booked Jagjeet Singh alias Ravi; Satnam Singh, Ramjeet Singh and Abhijeet Singh, all of Rkhala in Muktsar, for rape and under Sections of the Information Technology Act after they circulated the video of a woman they allegedly gangraped on Wednesday.

The victim, employed with a clinic, reported the matter after she learnt of the gangrape video.

“I have to work in night shifts. On Wednesday, about midnight, the accused Jagjeet Kumar visited me at the clinic, claiming that my mother was ill. He offered me a lift, but took me to an unknown place, where he and his three friends raped me. They also made a video,” she alleged.

ASI Veera Singh said, “The accused will be held soon.” A case has been registered under Sections 376-D (gangrape), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 367 of the Information Technology Act.
