Traffic cop, Bathinda residents clash

BATHINDA: A brawl took place between some residents of Chandsar Basti and traffic constable, Major Singh, after he attemped to stop a vehicle that jumped a check post at the Liberty Chowk on Sunday. Car driver Gurpreet Singh, of Nathana, did not stop when signalled to. Major Singh followed the vehicle on his motorcycle and reached Chandsar Basti, Gurpreet’s residence. Here, a scuffle took place with both sides accusing the other of being the aggressor. An inquiry is on. HTC
