17year old murdered, police yet to nab culprits

JALANDHAR: A 17-year-old teenager was murdered by unidentified persons allegedly using a sharp-edged weapon at Shahpur village near Phillaur on Sunday. The victim, identified as Honey, was a student of Class 11. He went missing under mysterious circumstances on Saturday. The victim’s body, which was traced a day later, had sharp injuries on the throat. SP Balkar Singh said, “The victim’s mobile is missing and we have started the hunt to nab the accused.” “A case has been registered against unidentified persons under murder charges,” Balkar said.
