SIDHU: A STATESMAN EMERGES

-

Navjot Singh Sidhu is fast emerging as a statesman not only on the horizons of Punjab, but on the national horizon. He is setting the agenda for governance, with chief minister Amarinder Singh difficent to do so. Calling a spade a spade and being true to your duties is not vendetta. After decades, Punjab has a politician with credibility among the masses. Sidhu’s impeccable integrity and probity and effective results mark him as a pole star in today’s politics. Navjot Singh Sidhu has started his second innings, this time as a MLA, after 10 years as MP. He is again wasting his time by leveling baseless allegations against the Badals and Fastway. What stops him from following the due process of law to recover taxes that he claims are due from the company? Going to the media, claiming the company owes the government money means nothing. Sidhu will do well to remember that the smallest deed is better than the greatest intention.
