Youth beaten to death in Panipat village

KARNAL: A 27-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by a group of assailants on late Sunday night in Mandi village of Panipat district. The deceased has been identified as Vikram Singh. Victim’s family members said Vikram had gone to a shop around 10pm on Sunday and did not return home. On Monday morning, he was found dead in the house of Ajit Kumar. Police sources said the deceased had illicit relations with a woman and her family members caught them in a compromising position and he was beaten death. Ajit, his wife Sunita, brother Meera Singh, Sanjay, Balraj and Leela Ram have been nabbed.
