BARNALA : One person was killed and five injured when an autorickshaw they were riding was hit by a bus from the rear in Barnala on Tuesday.

The injured were rushed to the civil hospital from where Gurmeet Singh, a clerk in the deputy commissioner’s office, was referred to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital where he died.

The auto driver, Harmel Singh, and a data entry operator in the child development project office Harjinder Singh were referred to other hospitals.
