2 women among 5 gang members held in Sirsa

HISAR: Acting on a complaint, the Sirsa district police on Tuesday arrested five members of a gang, including two women, who allegedly blackmailed a person after making his obscene video and demanded Rs 10 lakh from him.

Those arrested have been identified as Santosh Devi of Rajasthan, Manpreet Rani, Sukhdev Singh, Sukhdeep and Vijender Kumar, all residents of Sirsa district. The police produced Santosh and Manpreet Rani before a local court which sent them to judicial custody.

Ellenabad city station house officer (SHO) Sukhdev Singh said they received a complaint from Veer Singh d that the accused after allegedly making his obscene video started blackmailing him and demanded Rs 10 lakh from him .
