Faridabad rape: Three days on, cops clueless

FARIDABAD: The special investigating team (SIT) probing the abduction and gangrape of 23-year-old woman was clueless about the accused even after three days of the incident on Tuesday.

The police, meanwhile, started scanning phone calls of the commuters who passed through Mathura road from Faridabad to Palwal during the time the incident took place on January 13.

“The telecom service providers were approached for the details and the process of scanning is going on”, a senior police officer said. While scanning footags of CCTV cameras, the investigators have come across an SUV in the footage running in high-speed,” he said.
