Simranjit Mann dares Captain to arrest Badal

JALANDHAR: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann on Tuesday, dared CM Captain Amarinder Singh to arrest former CM Parkash Singh Badal, who has allegedly been held responsible for sacrilege incidents in Punjab and firing at Behbal Kalan in which, two Sikhs were killed.

Mann, who was addressing a press conference here, questioned that why were issues related to Sikhs not being solved.

“Before coming to power, Captain had accused Parkash Singh Badal of sacrilege incidents and killing of two Sikhs in Behbal Kalan firing, but even after 10 months of coming to power, he has failed to arrest him,” he said.

Mann further asked the government to open the Indo-China border for trade and use Karachi’s Bandargah, which is much closer to Punjab, instead of Ahmedabad or Mumbai’s Bandargahs. HTC
