IN PURSUIT OF PUBLIC INTEREST

Going by the increase in crime against women in Haryana, the state is living in medieval times. The rise in cases of violence against women flies in the face of the government claims that the sex ratio has improved. While the nation struggles with inflation and recession, television debates continue to discuss Ram and Ravana of politics and crores are spent on statues of leaders. People should not allow public discussion and debate to be hijacked by those with set agendas. Anju Juneja, Panchkula
