Bharti Infratel Q3 profit falls, misses estimates

MUMBAI: Mobile masts operator Bharti Infratel Ltd said on Wednesday its net profit fell 5.6% in the third quarter, pulled down by higher expenses. Profit came in at ₹585 crore in the quarter ended December 31 compared with ₹620 crore a year ago. Analysts on average expected the company to post a profit of ₹710 crore, according to Thomson Reuters. Revenue from operations of the firm rose 11% to ₹1,697 crore.
