Will surely meet el­der brother Ajay when he calls me: Ab­hay

SIRSA: Se­nior INLD leader Ab­hay Chau­tala said on Fri­day, “Ajay Singh is my el­der brother and when­ever he calls me or wants to meet me, I will surely meet him.” The MLA from El­len­abad was speak­ing to me­di­a­per­sons af­ter ad­dress­ing a party work­ers and INLD of­fice hold­ers meet­ing at his res­i­dence here in Sirsa.

He said, “In a very short no­tice, about 90% of the party MPs and MLAs reached my res­i­dence and we de­cided to take out Ad­hikar Ya­tra from De­cem­ber 1 from Ku­ruk­shetra dis­trict. Dur­ing this Ya­tra, we will tell peo­ple of Haryana how the BJP gov­ern­ment failed at ev­ery front in the state.”

The of­fice hold­ers’ meet­ing started at 3.30pm at Ab­hay’s res­i­dence on Dab­wali road and went on till 5.30pm. The me­di­a­per­sons were kept away from the meet­ing.

The meet­ing was led by Ab­hay Chau­tala and state party chief Ashok Arora. Talk­ing to HT, Ashok Arora said, “We wanted to han­dover all the re­spon­si­bil­i­ties to party work­ers, MPs and MLAs. Al­most ev­ery­one at­tended the meet­ing. Some of the lead­ers did not reach the meet­ing due to fes­ti­val sea­son.”

“We del­e­gated re­spon­si­bil­i­ties for the ya­tra dur­ing the meet­ing. Our main mo­tive is to tell the peo­ple of Haryana how the BJP gov­ern­ment failed to live up to their ex­pec­ta­tions.”
