WTO REFORMS AND INDIA

Apropos ‘India must push for reforms in WTO’, (HT, November 14), the writer’s concerns are genuine as far as India’s callousness in participating in these forums is concerned. India must actively participate in these global forums. India should also collaborate with other likeminded countries and help in framing rules that would invariably help in protecting the interests of developing countries. As a strong contender for the membership of United Nations Security Council, this would help in garnering support for India.
