Bodies of Punjab truckers recovered

After searching for nine days, the rescue teams were finally able to recover the bodies of occupants of a Punjab bound truck on Wednesday, which was buried under a massive landslide that hit their vehicle in Ramban district on November 5.

Ramban SHO, inspector Vijay Kotwal said, “The first body was recovered around 2pm, while two others were recovered in the evening. The deceased have been identified as, truck driver– Karaj Singh, 26, cleaner Joginder Singh, 45, and Kashmiri Lal, 21, residents of Gurdaspur .
