TALKS WITH MODI SOON, SAYS TRUMP

US President Donald Trump said at a Diwali celebration at the White House on Tuesday that he looked forward to “talking” to Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon, indicating the possibility the two leaders will meet on the margins of the G-20 Summit in Argentina this month. “I’ll be talking to him soon,” Trump said in an exchange with Indian envoy Navtej Sarna at the end of the event. Sarna replied, “He (Modi) looks forward to seeing you.” Neither side has announced the meeting, and there is no confirmation of it.
