HYDERABAD Sentiments play a big role in politics. Nobody has won twice from Gajwel assembly constituency. Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, a staunch believer in rituals, took a chance and contested from Gajwel but won by over 51,000 votes. According to a TRS leader, KCR had the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy in Siddipet. He visits the village and offers prayers before filing his nomination papers. He has won every election since 1985.
