GOVT BRINGS SCHEME TO SETTLE PENDING POWER BILLS

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has come up with a scheme to settle the pending electricity bills. The scheme will end on December 31. As per the new scheme, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) will give relaxation to the consumers for settlement of their pending bills. This scheme is meant for facilitating the consumers up to 20 KW of domestic category and up to 5 KW of non-domestic (NDS) category. Pending bills prior to the 2005 have been waived off keeping in view the provisions of the waiver scheme of 2005.
