Health dept flags off van for AIDS awareness

JALANDHAR : Civil surgeon Dr Rajesh Kumar Bagga flagged off a van to spread awareness about AIDS in the district on Tuesday. The van will cover the district over a week. A team of professional artists will also stage a street play highlighting preventive measures and misconceptions about AIDS. Two street plays will be performed per day Wednesday onwards. The play will be performed at Aman Nagar and Bhargo camp on Wednesday, Phillaur and Nakodar civil hospitals on December 14, Dhina and Gadaipur villages on December 15, Bhatnura and Gajipur on December 17, Rurka Kalan and Sarhali on December 18, Talwan and Tehang on December 19 and Bhullar and Sangowal on December 20.
