After opting to bat, India A posted 275/8 in their 50 overs — courtesy Anmolpreet Singh’s 71 and contributions from Ankit Bawne (48) and Vijay Shankar (42). In reply, New Zealand A lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 200 in 44.2 overs. For India A, seamer Siddarth Kaul finished with a four-wicket haul.
