3 ARRESTED FOR STAGING ROBBERY

BATHINDA: Police have arrested three persons for staging a ₹2 lakh robbery. Accused Gaurav Kumar, who works in a private finance company, had alleged that two motorcycle-borne persons robbed him of ₹2 lakh by throwing red chilli powder into his eyes near Naruana on Wednesday when he was coming back after collecting money. During probe, police found he staged the robbery with help of his aides Rajat Bansal and Ranjit Kumar. Gaurav handed over the cash bag to his aides and claimed he was robbed, said police.
