33 West Bengal tourists stranded in Amritsar
AMRITSAR : Thirty-three tourists from West Bengal have been stranded in Amritsar for past over one month and are slowly growing desperate as the hotel bills piled up and money ran out. Additional deputy commissioner Himanshu Aggarwal says, “Since the Punjab government has scheduled trains to ferry stranded people, we have also sent a proposal to start a train from Punjab to Howrah in West Bengal.”
