Even as many were abandoning pets due to false rumours that they spread corona, Bindi, a liver spotted pitbull, rescued from Paharganj, found a forever home in the lockdown. She had spent a year in a shelter waiting for someone to fall in love with her. Animal rights activities recommend bringing home a pet in the lockdown as there’s more time to bond.
