Army hospitals ready to treat Covid patients
AMRITSAR: The army is ready to be part of the operations being run by the civil administration to contain Covid-19 by providing its hospitals for treatment of covid patients in the border belt. Lt Gen RP Singh, army commander Western Command, visited Amritsar, Tibri and Dera Baba Nanak military stations on Friday. Vajra Corps Commander, Lt Gen Sanjeev Sharma accompanied him. They reviewed Covid-19 preparation at military hospitals in Amritsar and Tibri and were satisfied. Singh also visited Kasowal border outpost and ordered the BRO personnel to ensuring connectivity across Ravi river.
