Army hos­pi­tals ready to treat Covid pa­tients

AM­RIT­SAR: The army is ready to be part of the op­er­a­tions be­ing run by the civil ad­min­is­tra­tion to con­tain Covid-19 by pro­vid­ing its hos­pi­tals for treat­ment of covid pa­tients in the bor­der belt. Lt Gen RP Singh, army com­man­der West­ern Com­mand, vis­ited Am­rit­sar, Tibri and Dera Baba Nanak mil­i­tary sta­tions on Fri­day. Va­jra Corps Com­man­der, Lt Gen San­jeev Sharma ac­com­pa­nied him. They re­viewed Covid-19 prepa­ra­tion at mil­i­tary hos­pi­tals in Am­rit­sar and Tibri and were sat­is­fied. Singh also vis­ited Ka­sowal bor­der out­post and or­dered the BRO per­son­nel to en­sur­ing con­nec­tiv­ity across Ravi river.
