52.95 lakh MT wheat procured in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: A quantity of 0.63 LMT of foodgrain per month has been allotted to Haryana under PMGKAY for three months till June, which is to be distributed free of cost among 1.26 crore NFSA beneficiaries. Haryana government has so far lifted 0.94 lakh MT food grains valued at Rs 263 crore under this scheme. So far, about 53 lakh MT wheat has been procured for the central pool from the farmers of Haryana at the MSP.
