UNION MINISTRY OF MINORITY AFFAIRS TO TRAIN HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS

NEW DELHI: The Minority Affairs Ministry has set a target of training more than 2,000 healthcare assistants to join the existing 1,500 currently helping in the treatment and well-being of Covid-19 patients, Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said on Saturday. The minister said of these assistants, 50% are women, who were trained under the ministry’s skill development programme and now employed in various hospitals and healthcare centres across the country.
