DELHI GOVT FACILITATED SAFE RETURN OF 350 PUNJABIS: AAP

CHANDIGARH:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday said the Delhi government had facilitated the return of 350 Punjabis stuck in the capital city to their homes, giving them necessary medical check-up and fitness certificates.

“These Punjabis belonging to different parts of the state of Punjab were quarantined in various places in Delhi, including Gurdwara

Majnu Ka Tilla,” AAP’s Punjab affairs in-charge and Tilak Nagar (Delhi) MLA Jarnail Singh and Timarpur MLA Dilip Pandey said in a statement.

The AAP leaders said that leader of opposition (LoP) in Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Harpal Singh Cheema had been pursuing the process of their safe return with the Delhi Government.
