DELHI GOVT FA­CIL­I­TATED SAFE RE­TURN OF 350 PUN­JABIS: AAP

CHANDIGARH:The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sun­day said the Delhi gov­ern­ment had fa­cil­i­tated the re­turn of 350 Pun­jabis stuck in the cap­i­tal city to their homes, giv­ing them nec­es­sary med­i­cal check-up and fit­ness cer­tifi­cates.

“These Pun­jabis be­long­ing to dif­fer­ent parts of the state of Pun­jab were quar­an­tined in var­i­ous places in Delhi, in­clud­ing Gur­d­wara

Ma­jnu Ka Tilla,” AAP’s Pun­jab af­fairs in-charge and Ti­lak Na­gar (Delhi) MLA Jar­nail Singh and Ti­marpur MLA Dilip Pandey said in a state­ment.

The AAP lead­ers said that leader of op­po­si­tion (LoP) in Pun­jab Vid­han Sabha, Harpal Singh Cheema had been pur­su­ing the process of their safe re­turn with the Delhi Gov­ern­ment.
