SOLDIER HURT IN PAK SNIPER FIRE IN J&K

JAMMU: An army jawan was injured in a sniper fire by Pakistani troops on a forward post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch on Sunday, officials said. The soldier was manning a post in Balakote sector when the incident took place. He received splinter injuries and was immediately evacuated to a nearby army hospital. He was later airlifted to army’s Rajouri hospital for specialised treatment.
