GANGSTER ON PAROLE AMONG 4 HELD FOR AMBALA KIDNAPPING

AMBALA: Gangster Randeep Singh, alias Rana, who was out on parole due to the lockdown was again arrested in a kidnapping case in Ambala, the police said on Monday. Three of his aides, Rajat, alias Janu, Ankit Pandey of Kachha Bazaar, and Gaurav of Babiyal in Ambala Cantt, were also held. In his complaint on May 9, Satyam Sood, a resident of Ahluwalia Building in Ambala Cantt, had told the police that Rana, Gaurav, Rajat and Ankit had kidnapped him and his brother at gunpoint, thrashed and threatened to kill. They had extorted ₹5 lakh before releasing them, he said. A case was registered.
