Punjab govt akin to cricket team without a captain: AAP

-

CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state unit president Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday said the Congress govenrment in Punjab was like a ‘mohalla’ cricket team without a captain.

In a statement, Mann alleged that chief minister Amarinder Singh was acting like a mute spectator in this hour of crisis . “Like the previous Badal government, all kinds of mafias are indulging in open ‘loot’ in the state now too,” he alleged.

Mann said why cabinet ministers did not speak when the names of senior officials figured in the irrigation scam or against the loot by power mafia. “The state government should announce a complete waiver of power bills for two months ,” they said. HTC
