MP ORDERS INQUIRY INTO MASK QUALITY

BHOPAL: An inquiry has been ordered into quality of masks distributed among doctors of MY Hospital, Indore while the officer in charge of the health department’s store shifted, as per Indore district administration. The district collector, Manish Singh took the action after MY Hospital returned a good number of masks to the health department citing its doctors unwillingness to wear the mask a few days back, as per the administration. A week back, Dr Anand Rai, a whistle blower related to Vyapam scam raised the issue and posted a picture of a fungus coated mask on his Twitter account said, “Packaging of PPE and mask was important and that storage and manufacturing units of PPE and masks should be bacteria and fungus free.”
