25-YR-OLD ENDS LIFE BY JUMPING OFF BUILDING

GURDASPUR : A 25-year-old youth of Babowal village has committed suicide by jumping off a four-storey building on Jail Road in Gurdaspur on Tuesday. A nearby store’s manager took the injured to the Gurdaspur civil hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. The youth had no mobile phone, purse or any other identity proof on him. The incident was recorded in the CCTV camera of a nearby shop. Gurdaspur DSP Sukhpal Singh and Gurdaspur City SHO Jabarjit Singh were informed. A case was registered under Section 174 of CrPC at the City police station, the SHO said.
