POLICYMAKERS SEEM CONFUSED

-

The editorial, ‘Open up after May 17’, rightly highlights the paradox of our policymakers. When the number of infected persons was officially close to zero, we banged thalis and blew coaches. However, when we had nearly 500 cases, we opted for a complete lockdown which was strictly enforced. Now, the number of cases is close to 1 lakh and our policymakers are opening long distance travel. Our policymakers seem confused. They change rules and regulations arbitrarily. Arun Hastir,
