26 patients protest for discharge in Jalandhar

JALANDHAR : Twenty six patients, admitted at the isolation ward of the Jalandhar civil hospital staged a protest, seeking that they be discharged as per the new guidelines of central government on asymptomatic patients. The patients made a video of the protest and sent it to reporters. Deputy Medical superintendent at civil surgeon office, Dr Jyoti Sharma said Punjab health department had not issued them any new guidelines as yet and they were following protocols.
