PG admissions at BFUHS: Minority quota verification made compulsory

FARIDKOT: Amid allegations by aspirants that minority quota seats were allotted to some undeserving candidates, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has made the minority quota verification compulsory for the aspirants to participate in the next rounds of counselling for admissions to postgraduate (PG) courses.

The medical university has asked the minority quota aspirants to get their eligibility verified by May 18 for participating in the second round of counselling for admissions to PG courses in two minority institutions in the state.

Some students had demanded minority quota seats should be allotted by conducting physical round. HTC
