BENGALURU : The first passenger train to come to Bangalore railway station in nearly two months arrived on Thursday carrying about 1000 passengers from Delhi. While the majority of them were screened and sent to 14-day quarantine as prescribed by the SOP of the state to institutional facilities, there was a ruckus with about 50 of them refusing to be quarantined.

The train which had departed from Delhi on Tuesday at 9.30 pm arrived at the Bangalore station at around 7.40 am .

The Karnataka health department had setup ten health check-up counters.

Even as most of the passengers agreed to be quarantined about 50 of them refused, claiming that they had not been informed about it. They were to be sent back on the Rajdhani

Express on Thursday night.
