INDIA SET TO CROSS CHINA’S COVID TALLY

With India’s case count for the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) crossing the 80,000 mark on Thursday, the country is on the trajectory to cross China’s case count of 82,926. The spread of the virus, which first emerged at the end of last year in China's Wuhan city, peaked within the country at the start of March, the same time that India started reporting its first set of cases.
