AUJLA’S SILENT PROTEST
Amritsar MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla (centre) observed silence for two hours at Jallianwala Bagh on Thursday to protest the exclusion of Amritsar from Delhi-Amritsar-Katra expressway. He said despite announcement by BJP MP Shwait Malik on behalf of Union minister Nitin Gadkari, who has assured to stick to the original plan of the project, some people were rolling out new notifications in a haphazard manner.
