13 BOOKED FOR PRODUCING, SMUGGLING ILLICIT LIQUOR

BATHINDA: The district police on Sunday booked 13 persons by registering 12 cases under The Excise Act for manufacturing and smuggling illicit liquor. Seven of the accused have been arrested while six are absconding. As many as 10 cases are related to illegal manufacturing of liquor. Of these, five cases are registered at Beer Talab village under Bathinda Sadar police station. Two cases are related of smuggling of liquor.
